Laboring Bodies
Weaving and Needle-felted Sculpture. Made from a mixture of locally-sourced and secondhand materials, including: Mohair fur, wool roving, and yarn from MECCA (2nd Hand Arts Supply store), Pendleton production weaving selvedge scraps, artificially-dyed local wool roving, shared yarn from the UO weaving studio, jewelry-making cord from my mother, locally-made indigo-dyed woven cotton yarn, and an emergency blanket.
